This circa 1945 estate Girard-Perregaux is a classic Swiss mechanical watch with strong mid-century character. It features a 20mm gold case, aged silver-tone dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, center seconds hand, and a 17-jewel manual-wind movement.
The petite case and decorative lug design give the watch an elegant period look. It is fitted with a black cord-style replacement band, currently fits a 6.5-inch wrist, and is currently working.
Gold case was tested by Adamark. Black cord-style band is a replacement and is not original to the watch. Circa 1945 dating is based on the watch's movement, case construction, dial design, and period style. No box or papers included.
