This estate Mido Multifort Grand Luxe is a compelling example of mid-century Swiss watchmaking, dating to approximately the 1940s–1950s based on its design and markings. The 31mm stainless steel case carries a striking two-tone copper and black dial that gives the watch a bold, graphic character well ahead of its time.
The caseback is signed with the full suite of Multifort engineering designations — anti-magnetic, anti-shock, waterproof, and impermeable — reflecting the robust construction Mido was celebrated for. Fitted on a black lizard-grain style strap, this is a sharp collector’s piece with genuine vintage presence.
